Hop City Craft Beer & Wine Founder and Chief Hophead Kraig Torres sat down with Invest Atlanta to talk about what it means to be a part of the Atlanta business landscape and why the West End was a great neighborhood for their newest location.

Hop City is a lifestyle store that specializes in craft beer and wine. Invest Atlanta provided Hop City a Business Improvement Loan for a new location, Hop City West End & Boxcar.

“Very early on, Invest Atlanta reached out to me,” said Torres. “They approached me and said, ‘You’re opening in a part of town that we feel strongly about.” Invest Atlanta also partnered with Torres on workforce initiatives to identify job opportunities at the new location.

Hop City currently has five locations in West Midtown, Krog Street Market, West End, Alpharetta, and Birmingham.

“We believe that if you can make it here in Atlanta, you can make it in any city in America.”
