This affordable housing initiative provides tax relief to eligible senior homeowners with greater risk of displacement due to rising property taxes.

The City of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta have launched an anti-displacement program for legacy residents with $10 million of funding from the Centennial Yards Housing Trust Fund. For qualified applicants, the program will pay an increase in taxes above the homeowner’s base taxes, for a period of 20 years, if they continue to qualify for the program.

Invest Atlanta is happy to announce that the Anti-Displacement Tax Relief Fund Program is expanding in Year 3. This means more Atlanta homeowners can be served.

Because of that, we are re-reviewing 2025 applications that were not selected into the program. A new application will not be opened in 2026.

Previous applicants are invited to attend our online information session explaining the next steps:

**DO NOT file a property tax appeal. Filing an appeal will disqualify you from the program.

For those currently enrolled in the program:

To stay enrolled, participants must recertify each year.

Recertification will begin on April 1st, 2026.

There are two ways to complete your recertification;

  • You can complete your recertification by answering the FORWARD phone call from 770-758-5684 and responding to the questions over the phone.
  • You can sign in using your credentials from last year. Once logged in, click on “My Applications,” then select the “eye” icon. On the next screen, click on “Qualifications” and answer the three questions provided.
