In July, Invest Atlanta and Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) graduated the second cohort of the Reimagine Opportunity Small Business program. The cohort included six Atlanta entrepreneurs – all of whom are Black women businesses owners.
The Reimagine Opportunity Small Business program is a 10-week curriculum designed to equip entrepreneurs with digital skillsets to launch their business to the next level. Topics include everything from financial statements and managing a remote team to marketing, branding, SEO optimization, cyber security and more.
“The Reimagine Opportunity Cohort program was an excellent opportunity for my company to gain the expertise needed to pivot in a new direction,” says Lisa Johnson, executive director of Mathtopian Preparation Inc. “The support of the staff and the camaraderie between cohort members inspired me to embrace the idea of major change to our service model. Many of us have had little formal business training and after the Reimagine experience, can apply what we've learned to our day-to-day operations.”
