Screen Llloyd recently closed on a $50,000 from Invest Atlanta, the first-ever loan to come from the Creative Industries Loan Fund.
The Atlanta-based content creation company, founded by Amy and Kristen McGrary, develops high-quality feature film and television productions. Screen Lloyd will use the loan funding to assist with the production, marketing, and distribution of the latest slate of films they have in production.
Dedicated to the art of storytelling, creating compelling and lasting content, Screen Llloyd supports a community of talented filmmakers who come together under one umbrella.
The McGrarys’ visual and artistic approach to filmmaking has been enhanced by a background that includes art and set design. Through the years, both Amy and Kristen have worked on numerous mainstream film and television productions, including Terminator, Glory, Driving Miss Daisy, Ride Along, The Boss, Drumline, I’ll Fly Away, Drop Dead Diva, and Manhunt: Unabomber. Their combined experience in all areas of film production helps Screen Llloyd lend a unique voice to the stories they tell.
The company currently has two films that are in distribution to MGM, and they are past recipients of an NAACP Image Award.
