Integrity Transformations CDC Receives Funding for Renovations

The Invest Atlanta Board approved a Westside Tax Allocation (TAD) grant of up to $75,000 to Integrity Transformations CDC (ITCDC) for interior building renovations, technology infrastructure improvements and furniture upgrades at 692 Lindsay Street.

Founded in 1995, ITCDC is an established, local nonprofit whose mission is to facilitate job training, career readiness and access to jobs within English Avenue, Vine City and the surrounding neighborhoods. The approved TAD funding will be used to renovate and expand two restrooms, upgrade technology infrastructure and purchase furniture for a digital literacy lab, community resource center, training room and staff offices.

According to Jennifer Fine, vice president of Planning & Strategic Initiatives for Invest Atlanta, these improvements and upgrades enable ITCDC to continue providing workforce readiness training and job placement services to its clients and modernize its facility. “It also will allow them to expand their services and increase capacity amid a growing demand for job placement services,” said Fine.
