Homebuyers receive a 30-year fixed rate FHA, VA, or conventional mortgage and $10,000 toward the down payment and/or closing costs that is fully forgiven after living in the home for 10 years.
Must qualify for a 30-year fixed rate FHA, VA, or conventional mortgage loan with an Invest Atlanta participating lender.
Must have a minimum credit score of 660 (FHA/VA) or 680 (conventional, 3% down) or 640 (conventional, 5% down).
This incentive requires a program fee of $1,000 to ensure commitment to the 10 year minimum living requirement.
For this incentive, homebuyers cannot exceed $10,000 in liquid assets.
- Single family detached homes, 2-4 unit townhomes and condominiums, newly constructed or existing.
- Condominiums require 5% down, all other homes require 3% down.
- The property must be located within the city limits of Atlanta, outside of the Vine City and English Avenue neighborhoods. For properties located in Vine City, check out our VCRI program.
- The maximum purchase price for homes to qualify for this program is $358,800 for FHA/VA loans and $424,100 for conventional loans.
